This position is located in the Sacramento Valley of the VANCHCS, with duty station at the Mather campus.

In this position, you will join a team of eleven Speech-Language Pathologists (and growing!), located throughout Northern California.   Despite the geographical distribution this team works closely together in patient management and information sharing.   This position will be working closely with our ENT colleagues in treating patients with Head and Neck Cancer, Voice and Swallow,  in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.    Telehealth is also an integral part of our service delivery platform.   

Sacramento is the capital of California and perfectly situated in the northern portion of California's expansive Central Valley. You can drive an hour west to the ocean and an hour east to the mountains. Sacramento has a sunny climate and warm-hot temperature during the summer months, which are perfect for water recreation on the two rivers (Sacramento River & American River) that converge in our city. Ample opportunity for recreation can be found within easy driving distance: hiking and camping in the Sierra Mountains and National Parks, wine tasting in Napa and Sonoma counties, or exploring San Francisco.
