Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellowship Opportunity 2025-2026
The clinical fellow will gain experience in evaluation and treatment of adults with dysphagia, cognitive-communication impairments, aphasia, dysarthria, dysphonia, and upper airway disorders. Clinical fellows will receive training in performing modified barium swallow, FEES, and videostroboscopy studies, as well as gender affirming voice services, pre- and post- laryngectomy education and voice restoration, and assistive technology evaluations. The CF will manage their own caseload and see patients along the continuum of care from intensive care units, sub-acute rehab, outpatient care, long-term care, and hospice/palliative care. They will gain experience in conducting both individual and group therapy sessions. The CF will also interact with a variety of specialty services including neurology, rehab medicine, Polytrauma, ENT/laryngology, and geriatrics, as well as participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.
Position Details:
This is a temporary appointment without potential to become a permanent position.
The position is tentatively scheduled to begin in the summer or early fall of 2025.
Only US citizens are eligible to apply. Graduation from a fully accredited Speech-Language Pathology graduate program (M.A. or M.S.) prior to the position start date is required.
This is a full time (Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week), nine-to-twelve-month commitment with a $47,606 stipend plus a compensation package that includes salary, health benefits, and sick and annual leave.
