This presentation will discuss what Automatic Speech Recognition is, how it relates to your patients, and the research that has created the app: Project Relate. Project Relate is a personalized speech recognition app that leverages Artificial Intelligence and the speech recordings of your patient with speech impairment to close caption their speech and to access assistant features on their smart devices.
Marilyn A. Ladewig, MA CCC-SLP, is the speech pathology supervisor at CP Unlimited and is a contract researcher at Google. She has been an SLP for 14 years specializing in AAC and Developmental Disabilities, presented at ATIA 2022, Closing the Gap 2021, and Interspeech 2024 and coauthored
