This presentation will focus on our work with patients who undergo face transplantation. We will review our recent publication in AJSLP, detailing our case study and clinical outcomes for a patient who recently underwent Face Transplantation at NYU Langone. It will also discuss the importance of inter and intra-disciplinary collaboration for this population, particularly amongst inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation providers. Presenters will also allow time for questions from the audience and further discussion at the conclusion of the presentation.


Kaitlin Hanley, MS, CCC-SLP, is a senior speech language pathologist currently working in acute care at NYU Langone Health. She has been at NYU for 9.5 years, and previously worked at Jamaica Hospital after graduating from MGH IHP ('09).
