Speech Pathologist- NYC
Part time, full time and per diem openings for speech-language pathologist in the Bronx, NY for rehabilitation/skilled nursing facility.
Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role 5 days a week for 4-6 hours at a rehabilitation/nursing facility in the Bronx, NY. Full time position is also available in the Bronx and Yonkers. Temporary maternity leave position available in Rockland County in a SNF. The role requires the candidate to provide evaluation and therapeutic services to patients with speech disorders, dysphagia or communication disorders. The Speech Language Pathologist will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans and provide ongoing support to patients and their families. Mobile FEES is available at the facility.
Qualifications
Skilled in patient evaluation and developing personalized treatment plans
Excellent documentation skills and adherence to CMS regulations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field
Experience working in a medical facility or with adult patients preferred
Fully licensed in NY
The ideal candidate should possess skills related to Speech Therapy, Speech, Dysphagia, Communication Disorders in order to perform the daily tasks required for this position.
