Speech Pathology Clinical Fellowship (2026-2027)
Now accepting applications for one (1) clinical fellowship position.
PVAHCS speech pathologists provide services across outpatient, inpatient, and inpatient rehab settings. This fellowship emphasizes gaining experience in evaluation and treatment across the continuum of care: swallowing disorders, cognitive impairments (e.g., TBI), communication impairments (e.g., aphasia, dysarthria, AAC), and voice disorders. Training opportunities include fluoroscopic and endoscopic swallow studies, videostroboscopy, lymphedema treatment for individuals with head and neck cancer, and post-laryngectomy voice restoration. Speech pathologists collaborate closely with specialty services including ENT, SCI/ALS clinic, Dietitians, Neuropsychology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, and Polytrauma.

General Information & Requirements
12-month temporary appointment (M–F, 40 hours/week)
Benefits include salary, healthcare, and vacation/sick leave
U.S. citizenship is required
Graduation from an ASHA- accredited Speech Pathology graduate program (MA or MS) is required
